Mission /Vision
The mission of the Greater New Orleans Rebuild Child Care Collaborative is to combat the post-Katrina lack of high quality child care facilities in the Greater New Orleans area by providing grants and rebuilding resources to qualified Class A licensed child care centers seeking to restore, expand or open in underserved areas.
The Greater New Orleans Rebuild Child Care Collaborative will support the creation, expansion and maintenance of quality child care by providing our resources, support, supervision and knowledge of rebuilding child care centers to current and potential center owners. Our goal is to meet the need for quality child care for all parents in the Greater New Orleans area, especially in lower to middle income areas.
