APPLY FOR ASSISTANCE WITH REBUILDING
Child care providers in Calcasieu and Cameron parishes may apply for refurbishing and rebuilding assistance. A committee will review applications for assistance and provide assistance based on the providers' commitment to rebuilding, their ability to demonstrate a plan to attract and maintain qualified staff, and the estimated cost of repairs or refurbishing. If they are selected to receive assistance, child care providers will agree to work with a specified contractor(s) and receive customized training and technical assistance from Excellence for Children and the LSU Ag Center for up to three years.
